Different bowl (think we were in the BWW Bowl in Florida last year), but you're right - won't happen.

LSU and Louisville played in Citrus bowl last year.
ETA: Wow a lot of you all really have no idea where LSU played last year I guess.

Yea LSU is not playing the same team in the bowl game as last year.
USC ain't making the CFP either. They damn near lost to a bad Texas team already, they won't even win the Pac. Penn St/Ohio St winner replaces them.

It's going to be interesting if Clemson is the #1 seed and Alabama is #2 to see where each is sent.
Alabama is closer to Nola than Clemson, but it would suck to be the #1 seed and be sent to California.
Also have to consider that Southern Cal could be in the playoff, and if they're a 3/4 seed, they really should try to put them in New Orleans so they don't get to play in the Rose Bowl.
My earliest of projections right now would be:
#1 Clemson vs. #4 Southern Cal (Sugar Bowl)
#2 Oklahoma vs. #3 Alabama (Rose Bowl)

Well guess them going into Columbus and winning is a start.

I think Clemson has a good to great DL but I am not sold on Auburn yet (or the SEC other than Bama). The Louisville win was probably more impressive to me, as it was a road conference game.
Guess we will just have to wait and find out how good everyone is?
