It's insane that an offensive player can light up a defensive player going out of bounds like that. But, it's a 15 yard penalty if a defensive player does it.

The problem is that the toe hit nearly a yard out of bounds, and his body was even further away from the field.
It’s a boom-boom no call if it was closer to the sidelines. The refs have to throw the flag when it’s that far out of bounds.

I disagree with the late hit call so don’t take this the wrong way, but that late hit call AT LEAST had a hit with a player’s foot out of bounds
Ertz was fully in bounds when he lit up the eagles defender there
