There was basically no big upsets all year except Kansas over Oklahoma or Duke over Clemson. Pretty much every big game went exactly how people expected them to

I thought yesterday was awesome. Results ended up the way people thought they’d go, but the Apple Cup, Iron Bowl, FSU/UF, OSU/BYU, Michigan/OSU, and Kentucky/Louisville were all great games that mattered.

It's weird because it felt like there were so many near upsets but the favorites pulled it out in the end. So in that sense the season wasn't "boring" because there were a lot of fun games to watch, but the final results did end up being really chalky.

I remember 2019 hardly having any big upsets either. It was basically LSU, Clemson, and Ohio State kicking everybody's arse the entire year.

That 30 yard completion as time was running out by the Bama QB to defeat Auburn yesterday was pretty insane, the odds for that completion was probably less than 5%

Objectively speaking, has there really been a more exciting season than 2007?

Made me realize how much I enjoy upsets. This season has nothing.

When there are regular season upsets it usually means a subpar playoff. It's like March madness. Everyone wants upsets in the first 3 rounds but the final 4 is boring AF just like last year. No upsets means a very exciting final 4. Do you want to watch a final 4 from last year or one of UK, Duke UNC, KU?

Usually there’s a one or two iconic plays for each season. There’s none for this season.

No, and with a 12 team playoff, there will never be a 2007-like season again.

The winning play in the Iron Bowl was pretty iconic.

Not as a UW fan. First team in Pac-12 history to go undefeated in conference play. And they decided to make almost all of those games the least boring as possible.

Outside of that, I feel like every underdog I rooted for during the season lost.
