Was there any explanation for the roughing the passer on Brady?

That was literally the most routine and clean sack I have ever seen. Did they flag him because Brady fell down kind of hard? They have to hold these refs accountable. frick the Falcons and all, but what the frick.

The play if you haven't seen it:

Yeah, he's Tom Brady.

The NFL made special rules for him when he got injured.

You can't fricking touch him, its been that way since 2007.

He's a Made guy.

Make up call for the obvious PI no call on “little Scotty Miller” (as Skip would call him) on the previous play.

Yeah it was a blatant make up call.

Make up call for an obvious missed DPI the play before.

Would’ve been a first down either way

Pretty much spot on. Brady’s injury is why you see hilariously bad roughing calls almost weekly.

Atlanta would’ve gotten the ball with 3 minutes left roughly after that sack.

I’d feel worse about the obvious special treatment they give Brady, but frick the Falcons.

What bearing does this have on the merit of the call?

Am I wrong?

Doesn’t matter. Got the W. Nobody will care about missed calls or bad calls after today.
