I'm not justifying anything that Garrett did. He should be suspended all next season. But Rudolph was still in the wrong. If you can't see that, then you are an idiot.

He acted like a little bitch, but then Myles brought a helmet to a slap fight

they were both in the wrong. Rudolph didn't go overboard. Garrett went exponentially overboard. Pulling off the helmet was overboard and nothing compared to using it as a weapon.

What a dumb question.

Should Rudolph have reacted like he did? No.

But slap fights like that happen all of the time.

That does not justify in ANY WAY Garrett's behavior. Which is what some clear psychopaths are trying to do.

This is a bad question.

Was Mason Rudolph wrong to try and take off Garrett's helmet, kick him in the groin area, and charge at him with no helmet? Obviously yes.

Did any of that warrant Myles Garrett to hit him with his own helmet? Obviously No.

It does not matter what Rudolph did to Garrett. No action at all deserves the response of having his helmet removed and used as a weapon to drive into his head unprotected.

Garrett severely fricked up last night. He knew it after the game and nothing he can do can erase those actions. It is like pulling the trigger on a loaded gun.

Rudolph could and should have been more in control.

He didn't do anything that players don't do 10-15 times a game, though. He was a participant in some relatively minor pushing and shoving that Garrett started with the late takedown.

Garrett started it and blew it up into a whole new level with the helmet. That doesn't mean Rudolph wasn't in the wrong at all, but it isn't comparable to Garrett, or even Pouncey.

All I know is Mason Rudolph is one goofy bastard. I'd never heard him talk before last night.

He needs a one game suspension. He was clearly instigating the fight when Garrett was being pulled away. If Rudolph would have backed off as well, nothing more that 15 yards would have been assessed. Garrett us getting what he deserves, rightfully so, but Rudolph is not without blame here

Has anyone mentioned the cheap shot from behind on Rudolph as Myles was on the ground getting pummeled and Rudolph was just watching? I think it was Larry Ogunjobi (65 of the Browns) that comes running up and hits Rudolph and puts him on the ground. That should be worth a game or two.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Rudolph should be fined. That’s what would happen if Garrett would have gotten up and walked away. Rudolph was wrong for that.

Garrett escalated to another level. Suspension the rest of the year and 6 next year (reduced to 2 games if he keeps his nose clean and does community projects etc.)

What Pouncey did wasn’t “wrong” and is understandable but he still needs to be suspended 2 to 3 games.

The guy who shoved Rudolph at the end of it should be suspended 2 to 3 games. That was a cheap shot and just dumb.

Rudolph was wrong

But was the guy doing 15 over the speed limit and gets hit by a drunk that blew through a red light kind of wrong.

He could get a ticket but it’s not really core to the issue
