Wait, people live above racetracks?

Just watched Lucky Logan, didn't know this was a real thing. Decline of Western Civ
I mean, I can see living above the Grand Canyon as your window view or the Alps...but your view is an oval tarmac? All the time, every time? This is God's beauty to you? Campers with shitters full in the infield, your backyard is a trailer park, Natty light and Pimento Cheese wafting up to your suite all week long.
Who the frick wants to live above a racetrack...that can actually afford it? Who are these people? If you can afford to live above a racetrack, you shouldn't want to live above a racetrack.

If I could afford to have a place like that, I think it'd be awesome. Id have it in Daytona International Speedway. I have a lot of child memories there, the tracks close to the beach, and close to home in Jax. I'd have the highest view point in the area. The only bad thing is the airport being right there. I probably wouldn't want that as my full time place, but as secondary apartment, that'd be dope.

If I were super duper uber rich, one of the things i would do is redo santa anita park to have condos above the grandstand and i would want to live there. part time, but still. i actually did an Auto Cad of the layout one day
