Read an article on nfl.com that referenced "future hall of fame receiver Julio Jones" and I legitimately questioned the proclamation instantly without thought.

Is he a hall of famer? I don't think he is right now and his body of work doesn't say he is a "future hall of famer".

Great receiver but if T.O. can't get the nod no way in hell Julio does.

He already has the same number of Pro Bowls and made more All-Pro appearances than Michael Irvin. He also has more Pro Bowls and All-Pro appearances than John Stallworth, Charlie Joiner, Lynn Swann and Art Monk.

Of course Julio is a HOFer

Was today the first NFL game you’ve watched or something?

He sustains his current trend of receiving excellence as represented by his all-pro accolades, hell yeah he’ll be a hall of famer

Julio Jones reached the 9,000-yard mark in his 95th game and is fastest in NFL history to accomplish the feat. Lance Alworth held previous record (98 games).

He's an all time WR on a shite franchise that cant get out it's own way

He’s about 2/3 of a season from 10,000 yards receiving in his career already.

There are 45 players who have reached that mark.

13 are already in the Hall of Fame.

Not included in the 13 are:
TO
Fitzgerald
Moss
Bruce
Tony G
Smith Sr
Wayne
Andre Johnson
Bolden
Witten
Ward
Megatron

FTF but its a pretty safe bet, barring a series of major injuries or a career ending injury, he’s a future Hall of Famer.

JJones also has 30 less touchdowns than Dez Bryant.

You weren't impressed by him finishing with the second most receiving yards in a single season in NFL history? Or what would've been one of the most iconic plays in SB history if not for his team pulling a massive choke job. Or the fact that as of now he has the most receiving yards per game of any player in NFL history?

He will forever be known as a member of the Hall of Fame Team Choke. He can't finish, his team can't finish, his city can't finish.

I don't know if I'd put him in the HOF right now, but this is a retarded statement. The dude is a beast that's played half his career for a bad team and the other half for the same team that finds a way to screw themselves on the regular.
