Has that situation ever happened? How can you make that claim?

Ha! Nobody was "believing" them, we were just talking about them.

Until you came in discrediting everything!

Well I thought it needed my stamp of disapproval...

You don't think there's a slight difference between the Stewart story, and the one's you mentioned?

There will surely be a civil settlement, but any attempt at criminal charges will be laughed out of court.

Well 3 of those sports they're using their hands or ball and in this one it's a ton of metal going at a high speed against a person not protected by a similar ton of metal

What's your point.

If you did what they did on a football field in public it's a crime. Why is the track different if it was part of the race.

What about the Malice in the palace?

Artest should have been charged but wasn't. If I were the DA in Oakland County I would have done that. That said, this is of a higher order of magnitude.

Yea, I think I did a poor job of representing what my point was. People were acting like tony could just say "I wasn't looking for a split second " and somehow be absolved of responsibility

I feel like there would need to be some level of intent proven. How you do that I don't know, I'm sure any video will go a long way to determining what actually happened.

if the OP description of Tony gunning the car when the driver approached is true that incredibly damning. tony certainly should be considered an expert when it comes to controlling what his car does

I wouldn't think it could be considered premeditated since he's a famous hot-head but if it happened as described that's very damning

Here's an example of the waiver a driver signs before competing:

quote:

3. HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE due to
negligence of the releases or otherwise while the undersigned is in or upon restricted area, and/or competing, officiating in,
observing, working for, or for any purpose participating in the event.

You can google countless examples of them.

I quoted it from the guy's twitter account. I did it separately from the two posts above me.

I would have been faster but I wanted to get his position in there and screwed up the typing. It's not the first time that's happened either.

I'm reasonably certain you have no idea what any of that really means.
