Okay that makes sense but aren't these things supposed to be pretty informal? Like tony gets out there and let's these 17 yr olds pass him up and he just coasts around?

Apparently not and accidents do happen that's why they're call accidents.

I am reserving judgement.

I'll digress and put away my 20 years of experiences in racing.

I find it hard to believe a professional race car driver could hit someone completely accidentally. In the least I believe Stewart was trying to intentionally intimidate the kid and fricked up.

You should because you have your mind made up 100% that he did it on purpose. If you have so much racing experience you would agree that random shite can happen.

Looks confirmed

Fox Sports

The Ontario County (N.Y.) Sheriff's Department confirmed to FOXSports.com late Saturday night that it is investigating an incident involving three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart and another driver during a dirt-track race at Canandaigua (N.Y.) Motorsports Park.

I don't watch NASCAR but I know that's not a Tony Stewart move. He's trying to win. Wrecking 17 year olds on a dirt track isn't surprising.

Running them over is.

You're right, accelerating during a race isn't normal. Also you can control your rear end whipping around as well.. totally not an accident
