If anyone is a victim, it's the fricking guy who died, not Tony Stewart. Plenty of people don't seem to understand that

You can clearly see Ward has to move a little out of the way of the 45 car then when out of frame he steps back down and gets closer to Tony's car.

Or he could be walking straight down the track.
Except for the fact that you can clearly see the distance between his car and him increasing. The line of site isn't going to change that.

Sorry, driving and not taking evasive maneuvers to avoid anyone walking, biking, etc if they're on my road

It seems to me that more than likely the drivers couldn't see the kid once he got out of his car. He's wearing a mostly black driver suit in a darkened part of the track. The 45 car that goes by first clearly doesn't see him at all until he probably got right up on him. If you've ever rode in a sprint car or on a dirt track first thing is visibility is limited at best.
Tonys car doesn't go any higher than any other of the cars that went by. And from the video we have it doesn't look like Stewart swerves until Wards body gets caught under his tire. Also, it seems to me like Stewarts car looks like it goes faster because the camera guy follows the 45 and then scans back to Ward real quick.
And while I feel terrible that the kid died, he is dead today because he made a poor decision that cost him his life.

this is a classic case of perception bias. these people took a side, created a narrative in their head, and even in the face of objective video evidence, are arguing that reality is not reality. i love it; fascinating shite

I enjoy watching the evolution of an argument.
Distorting reality to fit their perception of the truth.

I just don't see how with video bing slowed down and broken down frame by frame you can argue it wasn't an accident or Ward's fault.

No other cars were close to hitting him.
Tony could/should have swerved out of the way.
Acceleration that takes place off the video.
Am I missing anything?

Hope all the Stewart fans are enjoying defending him though
I 100% guarantee he will never race again

Yep. Forget being called a TS fan for being objective about the evidence.

or simple things like TS being WAY HIGHER than anyone else (when the car before 45 is clearly much, much higher)

It has devolved into that because that's what people were comparing it to earlier. Can you not read?

I'm not a Stewart fan. I actually think he's a narcissistic a-hole. I'm just trying to help educate people on how Sprint Car racing is very, very different from stock car racing.
