That's what bothers me. It's so damn subjective and isn't called consistently at all. Heck one of ASU's best defensive players missed the first half due to a targeting in their conference championship that was VERY similar to that right there...just a good hard tackle that made helmet contact.

I agree that it shouldn't be a rule but you can't be this inconsistent based on the circumstances. Enforce the rules as they're written or change it in the offseason
