I mean same. But usually I would with it being the olympics.

I’m not, I’m pulling for the US in every single event, but I’m also socialist according to the board… so…
It seems strange to cheer for a team in the olympics where over 50% of the team kneels during our anthem

It’s the olympics, you should cheer for the usa. The other team had 100% stand at attention for our flag, so in honestly they seem more team USA

I get that people have that opinion. I personally don’t really care that much if people kneel, even though I wouldn’t do it.

But I care far more about beating China in the medal count than anything else.

Why are we pulling for Switzerland? What did the US team do?

WTF is going on in here. USWNT does not play Switzerland - they play New Zealand on Saturday.

I typically don’t like to bother with the petty protest shite but I find it really hard to support the women’s team who is so anti everything America right now. I just don’t get the end goal, is it to protest until all perceived problems are eradicated? If so will that ever be achieved?

I couldn't care less. I won't actively root against any U.S. team but the views expressed by the players have me completely apathetic toward their games.

You got me

I’m actually on AOC’s campaign team when I’m not hanging out in Venezuela and China.

That's because, no sarcasm, there is no end goal. The attention their actions bring gives them a sense of power. In that, what they are doing is the end goal.

It will never end.

Goddamn people.
A) This is a replay
B) We lost to Sweden. Not Switzerland. Two completely different nations. Though they both start with S, so I can see where public school led to your collective confusion.

I blame it on Jamie Lee Curtis.
