The US Women's soccer team used to be the darlings of the country and beloved by everyone. Now they are despised because of how they act and how the path their leader has led them down

I don't consider you American if you are cheering for America in the Olympics. These spoiled POS athletes don't like/cheer for you or this country, so why should you? Go Swiss!

I predict that our Women's Basketball team will disappoint as well.
Sue Bird (40) has been awful this year in the WNBA. However, she got a roster spot and will get significant minutes in the Olympics because of her name. While Arike Ogunbowale (24), the WNBA All Star Game MVP who scored 26 points against the USA team in an exhibition, was left off the roster.
Dinosaurs like Diana Taurasi (39) and Candace Parker (35) remain on the team as well and take spots from younger Americans with better stats in WNBA.

This team is pathetic. They snub their noses at the nation that feeds them, gave them everything from Youth soccer to University female sports via Title IX, which most countries have NONE of the above.
Props to O'Hara and Ertz though. They aren't grandstanding a-holes.
It would be the best commupence if they lost early out of the Olympics after their post World Cup political tour and ridiculous monetary demands.
