USA rugby has been doing a solid job of weeding out the "old guard" of players. Still a couple more that need to be replaced (Scully, Fry). Scully doesn't have the speed to be a wing or the ball skills to be a full back. I don't think Fry has ever had the strength to be a tighthead nor the open field abilty to be an international loosehead.

Yeah those two come to mind in terms of clear weaknesses.

Still think it’s very interesting that Davies got the start and played almost the whole match.

A buddy sent me a pic and the stadium looked pretty sparse. They should do something to promote these.

Yeah, I think Ausberger is the better scrum half. I also find it odd that Mike T'eo wasn't on the roster. He's been a dynamic bowling ball back at Fullback for the US. Wonder if he's hurt or just didn't make the roster.

I almost broke my TV watching this lol. The game went long based on the time slot so my DVR cut off with 80:30 on the clock and Scotland with the penalty. I'm rewatching the midnight replay just to see the last seconds.

I had to look up the result. Crazy, first Tier 1 win for the USA since Tier 1 was a thing. I really wish they were playing Italy in Chicago rather than getting (probably) killed by the Maori All blacks.

If they play like they did last night at the World Cup it’s going to be a good tourney for them next October

Yeah it was pretty darn empty. I’ve been to a few international matches in the US and this by far was the poorest attended

What makes no sense to me is that US rugby picks these locations at this time of year.

What they should do is have these in Chicago, Boston, etc in the summer, and Houston or southern cities in the fall.

They need to rotate better also for the national team.

The West Coast gets taken advantage of as they know they will show up for a US/Canada game. They need to offer them a premier game.

The game was a whole lot of fun. Granted it wasn't the strongest Scotland team but wasn't a bunch of scrubs either. Paddypower showed them as 22 point favorites.

Joe Taufete’e was great. MacGinty was great from the tee.

I get PTSD seeing the 9-10 combo of Davies and MacGinty after playing against Life Rugby in the 2014 D1 Final.

Had to rewatch the game with Big Red. I take back everything I said against Shaun Davies at scrumhalf. He played an amazing game against Scotland. I'd say he is the third MVP after AJ MacGinty and Joe Taufete'e. Wow, I still cannot believe that they won. Incredible.

It's showing HD 720 for me. It takes a while to continue processing after you upload before it'll show the HD version available.

It was my "miss it...noonan" that causes Kinghorn to push it.

Ive gone to internationals in Chicago and in Charleston, but you wont get me to go to Houston in the middle of June. No amount of alcohol would get me comfortable in that heat.

We need to hurry up and get that new soccer stadium built here in Nashville so we can have one here.

World rugby posted about it on IG and all those fricking Europeans blasted us. Very little respect for beating Scotland because it wasn’t their “A” team which is simply ridiculous.

Regardless, my favorite were the numerous comments giving us shite for always wanting to be the best at everything

They can say whatever they want.
It's embarassing for Scotland.
Scotland still was full of professionals including a superstar like Stuart Hogg, and betting lines had Scotland to win by 20+.
