I thought I'd like a links course for the US Open. I was wrong.

We only need one edition of The Open Championship every year. That place is an 8-year old gimmick course that kind of looks like shite.

Let's not do this again. Give me traditional US courses with brutal rough and slick greens for our championship.

That ball started left edge and turned all the way across the hole. Wow.

I didn't like Pinhurst either. USGA must of got a deal with this one. Are we trying to show the golfing world that we can play a links course. Hard to see any depth of field on a links course.

If Spieth putts like he's capable of he's gonna be 2 shots ahead of 2nd place by the end of the day.

i don't mind the set up ... most years it'll be a typical open course ... just don't like the greens ...

Completely agree. I like the course and set up a lot. I just wish the greens were more true.

I'm going between not minding them and really hating them. Haven't made up my mind yet.

I've really come around on Brando and Brooks. I like them as a pairing a lot.

Before coverage started, on the pregame show they showed a shot of one of the greens and despite it being a huge green there were only 4 areas where they could put a pin. Looked like at least 50% of the putting surface was unusable.

Brando can get a little "stuffy" at times but Brooks keeps it very funny and real..........if that makes any sense
