And he came off as a dick who was obviously lying his arse off. He still claims his wife never shared the texts with him even though the university's investigation concluded otherwise.

He probably should have just waited to talk to the media at his press conference tomorrow and refused to address any questions regarding the whole incident.

Urban Meyer is a great coach. This is beyond dispute. But he is most definitely a terrible human being.

That’s how I feel.

Just shut up and go back to coaching. I understand having loyalties to people but this one was a bad one to keep for a couple years too long.

I mean I have no idea what he knew or didn't know. I do know this the kids he has recruited to OSU are better kids than the ones he recruited at UF generally speaking. Kids are well spoken, and you don't see a lot of them being problems (Zeke had his issue last year for sure).

He seems to have figured out the issues he had at UF; now get back to coaching and figure out a way to get OSU's back 7 figured out

I've said this shortly after he was hired at FL.

He would be maybe the best used car, timeshare salesman of all time.

I think the best example of his character I can give is the story of Jevan Snead's recruitment, as told by Snead and his father.

Heavily recruited, the kid finally chose TN, ended up at OM I think, but he sat down to call every coach and let them know of his decision. Called Mack Brown first, and Brown told him, you'll be in good hands son, you've had a lot time to make the best decision for you, and I hope the best for you.

Calls CUM, and he goes off on the kid about how big of a mistake he's making and asks him to put his dad on the phone. Dad gets on the phone and listens to this reptile negatively recruit the TN staff and program, before politely telling him goodbye.

Just as disingenuine as they come. Ohio St definitely deserves better, but maybe not.

He'll take them down if they let him, eventually. Unless his "heart" issues re-emerge.

Why even go on tv now? Nobody cares any more, just let it die down.

Well, he was right. And if his dad would have listened, he would have been better off sending his kid to FL

Snead was Colt McCoy's backup at Texas before transferring to Ole Miss

I could be wrong on the coaches and teams, just what I remembered, but the CUM part is all true. Look it up

And Saban told Robert Massie he was going to call the NCAA when he committed to Ole Miss because they had to have paid him if he didn't pick Bama.

Point is that is what coaches do. I think Meyer is morally flawed, but for reasons other than what most others coaches do.

I believe that story.

I couldn't really think much worse of Urban's character.

Now that sounds legit.

Saban is the biggest dirtbag in a profession filled with dirtbags.

He shouldn't have done the interview, and Rinaldi thought he was Barbara fricking Walters with his questions. I swear anyone who doesn't know what happened would be lead to believe Meyer beat up a woman.

I don't like him very much, but people need to move the frick on. He's served his punishment.
