So you just decided to use the last 25yrs?

I was basing my post off the round about timeframe of the discussion in the thread. I didn’t know there was a more in depth timeframe I had to use. I’m not wrong in my statement though. You just cherry picking post and not adding anything to the discussion.

What other major sport city would be in the discussion?

Probably LA. Since the turn of the millennium:

Boston:

Pats - 6
Sox - 4
Bruins - 1
Celtics - 1 (soon to be 2)

Total - 12 (soon to be 13)

LA:

Lakers - 6
Kings - 2
Ducks - 1
Dodgers - 1
Angels - 1
Rams - 1

Total - 12

Of course LA has 8 teams, two in each league while Boston only has one in each so winning 13 with 4 teams is probably more impressive than winning 12 with 8, so Boston still takes the cake. But LA at least is in the conversation

Plus you got USC football, MLS, and WNBA… the only other chip Boston can claim are John Cena’s

Remember when the pats were perennial cellar dwellers and Sox were the Yankees' whipping boys. Times have certainly changed in the last 20 years.

And the Celtics were trash in the ‘90s.

Over the last 25 years, Boston has to be considered the winningest major sports city across the big 4. What other major sport city would be in the discussion?

Boston College and Boston U have some hockey titles. But regardless, this discussion is really more about the 4 major pro leagues.

Can’t wait until this kid is old enough where it’s acceptable to fight him

Then he'll just have a sign with Red Sox, Celtic, Bruins, Pats and your face one it

Does anyone know if he was indeed born in 2002, and if so, what month? Was he born before or after the Patriots 2002 parade?

The parade was on February 06, 2002.

That would give him 36 days to have been born before the parade.

I wonder what year his first in person parade was.
