I guess I kinda get it, I root for Conor mcgregor over everybody he fights even Poirier who’s from my home state

Nice response by Fritz here.

You are correct
Nah, obviously you don’t. It would just be huge for American tennis if Fritz could win this match.

Would it? May be huge if he wins the tournament, but a quarterfinal match against a hurt, 36-year-old Nadal?
I’m all for American men’s tennis making a comeback, though.

Considering Roddick in 2009 was the last time we had any American make a slam final and only two since make a semi (Isner and Querry), yeah it would be big.

Fritz is playing loose the last couple games. Hitting some really nice ground strokes.

Oh yeah I agree. I’m looking at it as a win-win situation.

Gauff and Sock just got broken at 5 all in the 3rd. Need to break Stosur here to keep the match alive.
Eta: didn’t happen. Ebden/Stosur to the finals.

I got em at +270 earlier so I'll hold off on making more bets. Better than the -280 bet I started with.

Fritz and Tiafoe look to be the best American players since Roddick.
Isner has had a nice career but is very one dimensional.

Wow Fritz got the screws put to him by the officials there. That was ridiculous.

Thank goodness ESPN is showing the ESPN2 feed on both channels right now. What the hell?!

Rafa is using every savvy veteran trick in his arsenal right now to compensate.
