Yeah, you can tell he’s trying to keep points short by just trying to hit winners. Which has been successful keeping the points short, because he’s either hitting those winners or hitting into the net a foot short. But the games are long, which is no good. At least his service games are. Fritz’s don’t seem to be.

Nick got better the other day after taking pills. But, if the anti-inflammatory doesn't work, he will probably pack it in. I like seeing him blast balls like this.

When you’re the all-time slam leader, not favored to win this one anyway, especially now that you’re hurt, there’s not much pressure on him and he can just let it fly. If those forehands can keep landing in bounds, he may still have a chance.
