I think it will be tight. Fritz is playing well. Rafa was on fire for a good part of the Sonego match, but he looked really mediocre yesterday. He was just kind of spinning his shots in and getting no depth. The line looks about right.

Fritz seems like he'd be a terror on grass. Like Isner, but fast and more skill. I could see him giving Nadal all he can handle if he's playing well.

I thought he blew it out like Zverev, but it looks like he might be OK.

Classy of Novak to go over and help him up to check on him

This is over. The defense Novak just played on that first point of the set.
I don't think anyone in the history of tennis (or in the next 100 years of tennis) is able to turn it on and find a new gear like Novak can.
It's almost as if he does it for fun sometimes.

What are everyone’s feeling on the Frits/Nadal match?
I think Fritz beats him in 4 sets.

It’s kind of what Serena used to do on the women’s side.
She’d be like… “oh, I guess I should try now” and always find that next level.

Damn went big trying to take Sinner to win straight up. If it wasn’t a free bet I would’ve been on Sinner +7.5. Was feeling pretty good after the second set. Djokovic is still a beast.
I’m going to take Fritz handicap against Nadal though and feel comfortable with it.

The ground he covered - reminded me of Giannis Antentekounpo or that Hamilton safety from Notre Dame who's like 6-4

Novaxx is locked in. I don't see anyone beating him other than on fire Kyrgios. And Novak will want to destroy him if they do play as they don't really get along.
Oh my god at what Novak just did.

Joker just having a Sunday stroll now after losing 2 sets

The way he did it with a slide and fall, then the hand gesture -- one of the GOAT shots.

The sliding cross court backhand
The absolute greatest shot in tennis history

Not necessarily the greatest shot in tennis but be able to step out and still rip the bckhd is a huge advantage for two handers especially on passing shots. Have to go to the slice of you hit a one.

I just looked up Norrie's personal life on wiki. I knew he played some college tennis in the U.S., but I see he is fake British like Konta. Lived in the U.K. for three years before going to TCU and now he's one of them.

Just read Kyrgios is due in court back on Australia in a month for an assault charge on his ex. That is not good. What ever happened to AZ’s court case?
