Wimbledon having line judges is the only reason Novak isn’t a sure thing to win this tournament.

I'm rooting for Jabroni, but this sparkplug has been growing on me lately.

Norrie beginning to annoy me for some reason. I hope the lil fella can pull this out.

I don’t know why I just assumed Goffin had made a SF before in a major. I guess he was just one of those guys that peaked at the absolute wrong time.

Hoping for Fritz to win it all - unlikely.

Nadal / Djokovic would be epic due to the off court matters from the AO.

Kyrgios versus anyone is must see tennis.

Great tournament so far.

Norrie wins.

Just need Nick not to blow it tomorrow. Nick v Nadal/Fritz and the winner of that against Djokovic is fine the rest of the way.

I wonder if the domestic abuse summons/allegations will have any effect on his on the court performance.

I have Fritz and Garin both +4.5 games tomorrow. Could see Fritz upsetting Nadal tomorrow and would like to see him pull it off. Im also waiting for Nick to have a breakdown at some point and blow off an entire set at least. It’s coming at some point.

I like Fritz +4.5. Nadal isn't getting great depth on his shots and Fritz is great at handling high balls anyways. Plus his serve is incredible right now.

I'll probably just take Garin to win a set.

The odds I have on that are -190. I took that too as the safer bet but split the unit with Garin +4.5 at +120 just in case Nicks shoulder really is hurting him or he implodes

they are. Nalbandian and Nishikori both excellent.

Agreed on both.

Murray's is solid as well.

. IMO he had the best hands of any tennis player ever

I guess this depends on how you define hands. I would put Johnny Mac atop the "hands" list because of his touch, but there was an element of Agassi's game that was better than any other tennis player ever. I guess you could call it "reaction timing".* Allow to me to elaborate.

If you go by the numbers of percentage of return games won, then Djokovic has the best ROS in the history of tennis.** But if you instead look at the specific number of clean winners hit off the ROS, it's Agassi and it's not close, and I am confident enough in this statement that I will boldly advance it without even looking it up.

*I believe Agassi would have been the best baseball player in the history of pro tennis players. Dude would have hit for both average and power as a switch hitter. He'd have been a HOFer imho.

**Djokovic is a bit longer than Agassi which allows him to get his racquet on more balls. But what sets Djokovic apart mostt starkly from Agassi in the ROS department is that he really never even attempts to hit clean winners off the return. He basically does the same thing with all of his returns: he just sticks the fricker right back at the server's feet, thereby immediately taking the upper hand in the point. Agassi's ROS game was more fun to watch, and had a higher degree of difficulty, though.

Speaking of backhands: Sinner hits his backhand harder than anyone on tour. As judged by MPH; so, objective...not my mere opinion.

I put $500 on Rafa to win the tournament at 4-1 about a week ago. My book will give me my money back right now. Should I cash out or let it ride?

Anisimova is cooked. This match turned out to be a dud

Wow she had Halep 40-0 to get it back to 5-5 after being down 5-1 in the 2nd and blew it

Anisimova rallied from 5-1 down, had triple break point to level the set, then got tight again and blew it.
