There is a Similar story involving Woj From espn. Guy in CA that never played organized basketball joined a JUCO. Woj landed him it the portal and he is headed to st bonaventure. This guy is only 23 though.

Look at Dennis Rodman. He worked at an airport out of high school, grew during that time and went play community college ball.

He was a good player he was in a very bad car accident and couldn't play anymore

When I played tennis for Centenary, Mississippi College had a guy on their team who was either graying very early or he was about 40. Everyone on their team called him Dad.
