Well for starters, KD actually talks and isn’t a robot.

Harden is no leader.

He needed CP3 to take a team to the next level. Lost CP3 and lost the series.

KD isn’t funny or interesting or cool or likable.

He just talks.

Lol Jordan brand isn't "dropping" Kawhi. The contract is running out.

They offered him a pathetic extension of 20 million over 4 years back in the summer of 2017 after he had just played a whole season like the second or third best player in the league. Harden meanwhile was getting 200 million over 13 years. 20/4 and a Jordan brand shoe instead of his own line with Nike like the Kyrie and PG line was a slap in the face for Kawhi.

Kawhi deserves his own line and will listen to offers next summer. Uncle Dennis wanted Kawhi in a Laker jersey to maximize his appeal since he is so quiet.

I mean, idk what to tell you. KD has been in national marketing campaigns since his rookie deal.

You should let Nike, Google, samgung, etc know one of their biggest endorsers is not marketable.

I think the thing you're missing here is that a lame personality is still infinitely greater than no personality.

Kawhi is a Finals MVP on a team with Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. He's pretty damn good at basketball, so obviously that isn't all it takes to be marketable.

Isn’t that the point of him getting out of SAS to give him a change to at least show a lame personality?

Pop doesn’t exactly reward outspoken players.

Parker gets in bar fights with drake and we barely hear about anything besides his goggles.

You can make a case that unemployed Swaggy P is more marketable than Kawhi, but Uncle Dennis has his mind made up that a big market like L.A. will give Kawhi the boost he’s looking for.

Kirk Cousins is more marketable than Kawhi.

“You like that!”

It does not matter what Jersey he wears, if he doesn't talk, do tours, or promotional events, he is not be marketable.

KD overtook LeBron is shoe sales while in OKC. Russell Westbrook does fine with endorsements in okc as well.

Meanwhile plenty of great players dont get national pushes even though they are in big markets.

He has to help himself, but he doesn't want to. So his uncle wants a big deal based around one really good year filled by a bunch of drama ever since. Good luck with that.

Who is going to give a introverted mute a signature shoe?

why?

Because he is an offensive tour de force, where Kawhi gets a ton of his value at the defensive end. Defense isn't as sexy, and KD is also willing to sell himself.

Is Portland a major market now?

Like you said great players in major markets don’t get pushed nationally and I dont Think that’s true at all.

I didn't say shite on that subject, I literally have no idea who has shoe deals and who doesn't. I was just thinking of top 20 type players who may not have a shoe deal.
