Beale ain't it. His 4th down pass with the game on the line was pathetic
It was bad but we don't know if that was Beale's misread or if something else happened.

I do know that Beale was shoved into the SBC title game (3rd QB of the game) and again last week at the most disadvantageous time. UL could not game plan Rice's defense because of their new coaching staff, and it showed throughout the game.

Yes, there were lots of drops, but it's also the case that Des does not design plays that get receivers open. It seems that every catch attempt is contested. UL's talented TE Jensen was invisible all night. No drag routes like Des ran with Terrance Carter, nothing imaginative in the least. And of course, they couldn't run the ball except for one Bill Davis breakout.

I do know that the team believes in Beale and is excited for him to get a shot. It's good for him to have a full week of starter prep against McNeese before heading to Missouri and Eastern Michigan the next two weeks.

I have full faith in Michael “one of us!” Desormeaux to lead this team to success

Left LSU because he was an entitled bitch that thought he was above running the PS….ends up 3rd string at Ole Miss, then heads back home for immediate PT, and now sets himself back another year.

Walker is a great example of how the portal can hurt these guys.

This boggled me.

It seemed like we were forcing the ball to Simpson to try to highlight our other “big transfer portal get”, rather than doing the things that helped our offense click last season before Woolridge got injured.

As much as I was irritated with our defense the first part of the game, they adjusted to that option scheme and allowed 0 points the entire 2nd half. That loss was entirely on the offense, and the OC (Dez).

Right now, until I see different, doubt our offense can average over 20 points a game. That defense better plan on allowing only 14 every single game.

ULL's place holder who never played a snap at WR for USL for Desormeaux made the NYG roster as a WR.

Dez is not made to be a CFB coach. And he is a mediocre at best talent evaluator.

People are going to see how low the floor is about to get with this current staff.

I find it hilarious how must of my friends who go to ULL right now thought they would be a 10 win team this year.

Could come back sooner with rehab but why would he want to after seeing how terrible and poorly coached this team is going to be under “Coach” Desormeaux last Saturday?

Yes, they lost a good bit from last year's 10 win team but that expectation was not totally unrealistic

He/She is probably the type of loser who tweets shite at 17 year olds when they decide to play elsewhere than his/her favorite school.

No dog in the fight, but I thought UL’s play calling was irresponsible. They were running him like he’s Jalen Hurts and he looks like he’s barely 190 lbs. He was getting blown up and was limping around before his injury.

Cambre didn’t make the Giants roster.

Cambre did play snaps at receiver in college.

Calling him just a placeholder is also disingenuous. He was a special teams ace.

Just curious how do you explain the 10 games that UL won under Dez last year? They were actually in the CFP discussion for a brief period.

I do think Dez should hand off playcalling responsibility but a 2-point loss in game 1 doesn’t make a season.
