Kind of sad when the softball coach only makes 170,000 and has a top 15 team in the country yeear in and year out. I would bet that baseball and softball outdraw every other sport at ULL.

On that note, it used to be hilarious when John Brady went to Arkansas State and was forced to visit the Cajundome every year. He would get so fricking pissed at the constant heckling while getting his arse kicked every year.

With the right coach and players the Cajuns could easily average over 6500 per game. That is pretty good for a program in the south that’s not in a high major conference.

I'm kinda torn on Marlin. Think he's been ok but I have to admit to being a little disappointed. He did manage to bring in transfers last year and a pretty good team.
This year, the best player arguably was just lost for the season to injury. So unfortunately gonna be a bit rough.

I’m fine with Marlin being our coach for about half the money. Ain’t anyone else offering him over $300k to coach elsewhere any time soon.
