Sometimes a couple of mediocre fighters can put on epic fights (Bonnar-Griffin). It may turn out good, but it doesn't look that one on its surface.

Good. That was the minimum that should've happened to Palhares.
Martial Arts is about respect and sportsmanship above all else. That frick has none of either. He's got a long track record of hanging onto holds and purposefully injuring opponents. There's no room in MMA for those kind if characters.
In saying that we'd have all loved him in the 90's.

Murilo Bustamante was his mentor and kicked him out of his gym awhile back because he kept holding subs late even in practice.

I kind of feel bad for Hendricks, he's getting passed over by Condit who he beat and who is 2-3 in his last 5 fights. Now he has to win or fall out of the title picture. They must have sweetened his pot somehow bc he's taking it pretty well.
Not mad at the match ups though Hendricks v. Woodely and Condit v. Lawler should be fun.

Hendricks own fault for consistently letting off the gas. And he beat Lawler, btw.

I think he beat GSP and Lawler in the rematch but his rep is becoming someone who is looking for decisions. (Which I don't think is true and even if it is, deal with it)

Maybe so but he also got split decisions over Mike Pierce (who?) and Koscheck.

I'm an OSU guy, but I'd rather see Lawler vs Condit. Hendricks hasn't excited me in the ring in a couple years.
I don't think the buying fans want to see Lawler/Hendricks III right now either.
Also If I were his manager, I wouldn't want to be the next guy to fight Lawler after that match w/ Rory which will go down as an all-time great fight. Hendricks won't bring that to the cage, better to let the memory of that fight subside. Beat a couple contenders, collect some checks, cash in and win the belt in a grinding fashion.
also, WTF is up w/ NSAC suspending Shields too.

Shields punched him after the fight was stopped.

I understand that. It was warranted imo.

It doesn't really matter, his shoulder is jacked anyway. Probably will be out for a while with the injury.

Mazzagatti is a terrible ref. It's amazing to me that states still license him.

Kampman is leaving Team Alpha Male as coach. Everyone must hate Faber.

Article I read said Kampmann's family didn't want to live in Sacramento anymore.

Is Duane Ludwig still there?

No, he has been gone for over a year now.
