I'm almost more surprised if Thompson doesn't land some type of crazy shite in a fight.

But can the goat coach? I think he's too self absorbed but we shall see

Of course. Not only is he way more advanced than anyone in the UFC but he will have all of the SBG coaches there with him.

Advanced? That's pretty bold
Dude, his mancrush on McGoober has him retarded. I think he'd vote for him to become president if he could.

People thought the same about Tito and he ended up being one of the best coaches in the shows history.

That is true. Almost forgot about that

I totally missed the finale. I don't even think it recorded.

You have been proven wrong time and time again when speaking about Mystic Mac yet I have always been spot on. Why don't you get a bucket and go spit shine his belt so it will look extra shiny on the show while he is proving you wrong yet again.

Wait, they give away a belt for the temporary championship? Also, he was given a premature stoppage to win his almostchampionship, too. Aldo and/or Edgar is going to whip dat arse.

He is the champ, deal with it. Nobody can force a man that is terrified for his life to show up so that is why they had to do it this way. If, and that is a huge if, Aldo shows up he will also be promptly dispatched within 2 rounds. The stoppage was not early, Mendes was out and turtled up, but even if it had gone on he was done. His gas tank was empty from Conor's body shots and finishing Mini was a formality after he escaped the guillotine attempt. #conorbless

Anyone that doesn't like McGregor should just watch the post fight presser. He's what you want in a star athlete. He's really in tune w/ the struggle and the sacrifice the fans make to come see him. He's got a knee that needs surgery and he gutted it out for the paycheck and the fans. I know the money is most important to him but performing for the fans may be his greatest motivation.
Soon the money wont be as big as a deal as it was when he was broke, but the love of the fans and his country can last much longer than money.
Every chance I get I'll say frick Aldo. Aldo isn't a foxhole kind of guy. I'd want McGregor in my foxhole, he'd have your back when needed. McGregor is humbled by those that are committed to him and have stuck w/ him.
Aldo's camp brought in new dudes that weren't part of the team and it gave them an out. Brazil can suck it.

I rewatched the fight and its so obvious that Conor had taken all the fight out of Mendes with those kicks. And the talking from the ground. Mendes basically had done all of his strengths and realized that he couldnt hurt him. People will say that Mendes won the first 2 rounds. That maybe true. But Mendes knew that he had spent it all to do it. He went for a hail mary submission. Once it failed and they were on their feet, you could tell Medes was broken and Mac picked him apart.

Anyone watching could tell that there was no way "money" would make it past another round. Dude was gassed.
