Paddy would be much larger/longer. He’d have to find a way to get on Ilia’s back or catch a leg. He’s not going to damage Topuria.

Paddy doesnt make it out of the 1st round either. This dude is throwing nukes. All it takes is one to hit to the dome and its another quick nights work. Ilia beats paddy and islam beats jdm, does ilia go up to welterweight for triple champ status? Idk that islam wants to kill himself to make 155 ever again, much like Topuria doesnt wanna do the same to make 145.

I’ve never seen anything like Illia in the UFC.

They gotta get he and Islam to matchup.

Charles is one of the best to ever do it and had one of the best runs ever in the division

and during that run he beat

Clay Guida (25 losses)
Christos Giagos (12 losses)
Jim Miller (19 losses)
Nick Lentz (12 losses)
Tony Ferguson (11 losses)
Michael Chandler (10 losses)

he did beat Geathje and Porier however and those two wins were the best of his career, but outside of that he is TREMENDOUSLY overrated.

What this dude has been doing is pretty ridiculous.

He’s just knocked out 3 straight dogs (Volk, Max, and Charles).

One of those guys had never even been KO’d and Charles is still a dog.

If we don’t get to see Islam vs Topuria what a shame.

And in a few years you will be here when ilia starts losing and gets replaced by the next big thing saying how max had 8 losses and charles 11 losses blah blah blah.

Paddy destroyed Chandler, but is that a great accomplishment anymore? Chandler's only recent win was against Tony Ferguson.in 2022. Otherwise Chandler has lost 5 out of his last 6.

Paddy was beaten by Jared Gordon.

Paddy matchup is a step down in competition for Topuria, and if the fight happens, it's only because there's bad blood between them outside of the octagon.

Topuria might have more power than prime Conor and there's no way he gets derailed by a boxing side quest or gets messed up on drugs and debauchery. Topuria is laser-focused and is putting in all the work and training, prioritizing the best nutrition and supplements, and making use of the latest sports therapy technology for athletes. Has a beautiful wife and great family support. Off the charts confidence. Obviously living a blessed life, all glory to God.

Islam, Khabib, Javier--what can they say now? Their stipulation was that Topuria had to get a win against a quality opponent at lightweight. Topuria just checked that box.

Now the pressure is on Islam to beat JDM. I'm guessing Islam will either fight in October in Abu Dhabi or November at MSG. So probably no Islam-Topuria until next year at the earliest.

If both Islam and Topuria win, Islam vs. Topuria is the closest thing to Conor vs. Khabib that we might ever get. Volk took Islam 5 rounds in their first fight--what can Topuria do?

Volk-Max-Charles. Where does this rank among the best three fight stretches in UFC history?

Who wins in a fight--prime Conor or Topuria in his prime right now?

Topuria comes in with that sheepish smile and then knocks guys out cold. Crazy power.

Historic night, a new double champ. Amazing fight between Van and Royval. Pantoja in the conversation for flyweight GOAT. Great entertainment overall, good UFC card

Agree, can everyone stop hyping Charles now? All I hear is that he is so good, yet all I see is him losing all the time. Time for him to retire.

If Paddy had fought Oliviera last night, the result wouldve been the same.

Fight went just like I expected. Nobody is touching Topuria including Islam.

It’s a terrible matchup for Islam. Topuria would make it look easy. The only fighter I have seen that has the right skillset to beat Topuria is Jack Della Maddalena. Nobody in his current weight class and the one below has it.

How is he overrated? He is a good fighter and well liked but it’s not like people are comparing him to the UFC greats.

Paddy will beat Topuria. Paddy is too big for him. He will smother Topuria. Styles make fights and Paddy is the right kind of opponent to take down Topuria.

Tuporias punching and power is on a different level. Plus Paddy is one dimensional. People forget that Tuporia is a High Level Black Belt in BJJ. It will be a Huge Fight, especially if they do it in Spain.

Not even close to being the same. It will be the biggest upset since Weidman vs Silva.
