Diamond's conditioning much better this time.

Next fight is John Gunther v Allan Zuniga. These were the two slowest fighters this season on TUF, in my opinion.

At ceremonial weigh ins, Lewis and Ngannou had words and Lewis shoved him, they had to be separated. I'm expecting fireworks in that one tomorrow, but I still think Lewis gets the win, 2nd round.

Gunther totally controlled round 1, but didn't do any damage. Just took Zuniga to th ground, over and over. Trying to do the same in round 2, but took over a minute to get a take down. Not sure if the judges will award 10-8 for round 1. Can't ever tell with this new scoring, how they'll do it.

With how gunther can so easily push Zuniga up against the cage and work for eventual takedowns, I'd think he has this fight in the bag, but there's no telling what may happen.

In related news my sons basketball team won a thriller 20-15 between two teams with the suckiest basketball fundamentals you’ve ever seen.

I think Gunther is up 20-17 heading to round 3. I don't think either of them will get a contract now or soon, perhaps never. Gunther may get a reality show though.

These guys have gotten tired and sloppy, commentators struggling a little bit. Gunther not only moves slowly, he reacts very slowly. Zuniga kept lighting him up at the end and those were not sharp punches. Judges may give Zuniga round 3 out of pity.

Next fight:
Louis 'Violent Bob Ross' Pena v Richie Smullen
Smullen is Irish and I believe is a teammate of Conor's at SBG

I hope you’re right. I just don’t see it. I know everyone was down on Francis after the stipe fight but I was actually impressed with his heart. I think he’s still got a very bright future and will be champ one day

If there’s a worse fight than this in the history of the UFC, please let me know.

Man, that was awful.

My concern with Francis was that he downplayed his shortcoming on the ground and with cardio. Perhaps that was a result of the language barrier, but makes me wonder if he's learned lessons or if Lewis will be able to take advantage of those areas.
