Salaries for UFC 226. I guess Stipe and DC will get PPV money as well. I'm surprised Lewis gets more money than Francis. I guess that's due to popularity and how much of a draw he is.
"Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, including the official UFC Athlete Outfitting sponsorship program pay. They also do not include any other “locker room” or special discretionary bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays. They also do not include pay-per-view cuts that some top-level fighters receive.
Champ Stipe Miocic: $750,000 (no win bonus)
vs. Champ Daniel Cormier: $500,000 (no win bonus)
Francis Ngannou: $100,000 to show ($100,000 to win)
vs. Derrick Lewis: $130,000 to show ($130,000 to win)
Michael Chiesa: $48,000 to show ($48,000 to win)*
vs. Anthony Pettis: $135,000 to show ($135,000 to win)
Gokhan Saki: $85,000 to show ($55,000 to win)
vs. Khalil Rountree: $19,000 to show ($19,000 to win)
Uriah Hall: $48,000 to show ($48,000 to win)
vs. Paulo Costa: $55,000 to show ($55,000 to win)
Paul Felder: $46,000 to show ($46,000 to win)
vs. Mike Perry: $40,000 to show ($40,000 to win)
Raphael Assuncao: $70,000 to show ($60,000 to win)
vs. Rob Font: $33,000 to show ($33,000 to win)
Curtis Millender: $15,000 to show ($15,000 to win)
vs. Max Griffin: $20,000 to show ($20,000 to win)
Daniel Hooker: $30,000 to show ($30,000 to win)
vs. Gilbert Burns: $31,000 to show ($31,000 to win)
Landon Vannata: $25,000 to show ($25,000 to win)
vs. Drakkar Klose: $22,000 to show ($22,000 to win)
Jamie Moyle: $12,000 to show ($12,000 to win)
vs. Emily Whitmire: $10,000 to show ($10,000 to win)"
* means Chiesa is giving up 30% to Pettis since he failed to make weight

Katona has an odd Irish-Canadian accent now.
Cyborg did her best there to feign excitement and there was a nose picker behind Till.

Crazy how little some guys are still making.
Also, what’s an estimate on how much they’ll make on ppv points? I assume $1/$2 from each buy? So if ufc226 does 750,000 buys then stipe will make 1.5 mil and DC 1.25 mil?

I've seen PPV points / share in different formats, but don't know how they're doing it now.
I've seen it go on a tiered format where it's $1 for each buy from a to b then $2 if the buys are between b and c and so forth.
Also found this blurb on the sherdog forums, related to Overeem when he sued the UFC for breach of contract.
"Pursuant to the terms of Overeem's UFC contract as outlined in the complaint, he is guaranteed a "bout fee" of $264,285 on Dec. 30. Should he defeat Lesnar, Overeem would receive an additional $121,428 "win bonus." Overeem is also in line to receive a $2 pay-per-view bonus per viewer, "for all revenues received by UFC-Zuffa for telecast of the Lesnar fight in the United States, Canada or over the internet in excess of $500,000."

Jimmy smith hit the nail on the head. You have to pressure the kickboxer and not let him set his feet

Tavares is dead in the water since he can’t get a take down

Easy to say from the booth lmao

Adesanya is the real deal. I didn’t believe he was until tonight. His ground game is way better than I thought

He dominated Tavares and they weren't giving this dude any respect before the fight

Saw Luke Thomas tweeted that the pacing of the cards after ESPN takes over the TV rights will be better than what FS1 does. Waiting 30 minutes for the next fight after an early first round finish in the previous fight is a buzzkill. I imagine they will have to be more rigid in the lead-up to a PPV card, but shows like tonight should be much better paced.

Adesanya lost me with his rant in Nigerian.

Well he's buddies with Kamaru, birds of a feather.

About 5 people watching the broadcast understood what he said. And he offered nothing substantial in English. Not sure what he thought he was accomplishing.
Just saw on mma junkie twitter that UFC 231 will be in Toronto on Dec 8th. I wonder if we might see GSP there.
