Let's not forget that the last time they fought DC was up 2-1 going into the championship rounds.

False, after a close round 1, Jones took a 2-1 lead into the championship rounds and won a unanimous 49-46 decision (4-1).

This fight is gonna be the same as last time and Jones may even finish it if he gets DC in a tough position

Well, it's official. Everyone made weight. Cormier is going to be in for an arse whipping tomorrow night. Won't be surprised if Jones finishes him. Can't wait.

I really just don't understand anyone wanting Jon Jones to beat Cormier, even though he will.

It is unbelievably perplexing to me.

I just don't like the way he has carried himself the last few years especially being the "paper" champ. Just to let you know I was actually pulling for him hard in the first fight. I honestly believe Daniel would easily be the UFC HW champion if he was competing in that division right now. He just happens to be the 2nd best LHW in the world behind Jones. Jon is the greatest mixed martial artist in the history of this planet and will demonstrate this Saturday night. I am no Jones fanboy and am not necessarily "pulling" for him. I just enjoy watching and appreciating greatness.

I like watching JBJ fight, but I cannot stand him out of the cage. One of those athletes where I have to avoid all interviews, articles, etc. and just focus on what he does as an athlete.

and you're talking about Cormier? I can see liking Jones style and cheering for him bc you're a front runner, but if you're basing it off how people have carried themselves then no one can cheer for Jones.

It's also funny to me the same people that say they're cheering for Jones bc Cormier is "holier than thou" just blow off the fact that 5 years ago Jones was a super Christian throwing it in everyone's face. Now hes dropping F bombs every other word and getting arrested. Cormier was the first guy to expose JJ for being the fake he is.

Did you even read my post? I am in no way cheering for Jones. Just enjoy watching greatness. I have never actively pulled for Jones in any fight. Just stating what is going to happen.

Sorry, but the tone of your post reads as if you're not rooting for Cormier bc of how hes carried himself and you have so much respect for Jones abilities bc hes the GOAT.

I think its important to realize that Cormier has a claim to GOAT if he can win this fight. I feel for him because hes arguably had the 2nd greatest career and no one will ever remember that bc he was in at the same time as JJ.

A win Sat night followed by a retirement and Cormier is at the top of my list at LH bc the records are even and he did everything the right way and JJ didnt.

All that being said, JJ probably wins easier this Sat night than the last fight.

He will be remembered. Winning the Stikeforce HW Tourney as an alternate. Beating up on HW's and LHW's in the UFC. Even if he happens to lose to Jones, it would be the only 2 losses in his career. Definitely one of the all time greats.

Put 100 on Cormier to win inside of 5 rounds, it's at +400... that's how you know it's a good bet.

Jones looked like such dog shite in the last fight I think Cormier does it and inside of time

...also put 100 on Mcgregor to beat Floyd.... I'm really bad at betting in retrospect
