It wasn't a bad stoppage.
I agree. That knee made McMann's arse quit.

just watched the fight and yea
if the fight would have kept going Ronda would have ripped her apart.

Meh. For a title fight, I think you gotta let McMann try to recover. It wasn't like Rousey was following up with anything severe.

Is it weird that I like the Diaz boys bc of their attitude but dislike Rousey bc of hers?
No. I've seen this comparison a lot lately. To me the difference is Nate Diaz for example will congratulate or shake hands with his opponent win or lose after the fights over. Once it's over he shows that he has respect for the sport. I wouldn't go as far to say he has class but the kid understands the grind this sports takes.
I'm convinced one of the hardest things to do is admit defeat especially after you literally put blood, sweat and tears into this sport. Not even to mention losing a title fight.
So for Tate to offer to shake hands with Rousey after an incredible snot she has been is on a whole another level for Rousey to turn her back and like a little bitch.
I mean Ken Shamrock shook hands with Tito Ortiz for fricks sake after their third fight.

Can they just give the bonus to Rousey before the fight starts? Apparently it's in her contract that she gets a post fight bonus.

1. Get pummeled at the opening bell
2. Recover and land a couple of knees in clench
*3. ???
4. Profit
*Benefit from one of Herb Dean's patented ill-timed stoppages

Well didn't Tate say a lot of things about her family or something?

But that wasn't the point anyway. Why is Rousey getting a performance bonus when at least all of the other fight winners on the card performed better?

Yeah it was like 3 years ago and she apologized about about 10 times for it. Even Dana told Rhonda to stop being a bitch ll

Seems to me that Ronda is just an immature brat and disguises it with a contrived "bad girl" persona. Makes her genuinely unlikable. IMO.

LOL @ UFC. If they keep with this kind of shite it will go down the shitter
UFC went down the shitter a looooong time ago. Going mainstream killed MMA. It's a joke just like WWE. A women's title fight headlining a PPV?

I hate Women's MMA as much as any one else but Rousey has proven to be a box office draw

because dana would like to sniff her tater chute.
thats also why he stated last night it would be a long time before cyborg and rousey would meet up, which really means never until rousey loses to someone else.

He knows Cyborg would destroy RR

UFC just matched Melendez's offer from Bellator and will stay in the UFC. His deal sounds pretty rich.
LINK
quote:
Per the terms of the agreement, according to several sources, Melendez's deal guarantees that at least 75 percent of the 31-year-old's fights will be contested on pay-per-view moving forward. Additionally, income earned from Melendez's contracted pay-per-view points will kick in at a lower minimum buy rate than for any contract in UFC history, meaning Melendez will still earn pay-per-view point earnings on an event that performs poorly at the box office. Melendez will also earn pay-per-view income regardless of his placement on an event, i.e., regardless of whether he fights in the main event, co-main event or main card.
