I have a Stoic 6 inch, no taper, no pad. Needs to be broken in a little bit, but it's a good belt.

Wanna have a fun time with friends and experience sensory distortion and comprehensive oddness? LSD

Wanna get in touch with your inner id and make life adjustments? Psilocybin

Wanna encounter unseen worlds and question reality? DMT

Depends on what you're looking to get out of it. Are you looking for a fun, party experience, or are you looking to get an introspective reality check? Your mindset heading in will determine the experience.

If you are just doing it for the frick of it, then I would advise you to make sure that you're in a comfortable spot and in a great mood heading in. Satisfy these requirements and you will most likely have a good time. Senses will be heightened, colors will be vivid, and music will sound awesome. You may get some weird visual distortions depending on dosage.

Want to go deep? Make sure you are in the correct headspace. Up the dosage, be prepared for the strangeness. Whatever you have lied to yourself about or you know to be true about yourself - be prepared to face it head on. Psychedelics can teach you a lot, but you won't learn anything that you don't already know to be true about yourself.

What is the negative effect of the very high calcium, if any?

It is bermuda in the back and centipede in the front. The recommendation from LSU Ag was to add lime to both.

Bump.

This thread has been invaluable to me as a new homeowner. The previous owners apparently cared very little for lawn care so I've had my work cut out.

Question:

I recently received the results of two soil tests for my front and back yards from LSU Ag and both tests show that I have relatively acidic soil (5.4 & 5.8) and very high Calcium (1930 & 2400 ppm). The recommendation was to add Lime which I know is the common recommendation for increasing the pH, but this seems odd to me since it will increase Ca.

Any insight into this situation? I can provide more info on other elements if necessary.

Great thread, thanks!

DARK SOULS

I think it's great. Personally, I like the mystery and being in the dark. It sucks when the payoff falls short (ahem, LOST), but it's fun wondering wtf is going on and speculating.

Also, Nora.
Thanks. I never said the house would be in both our names. I never said it wouldn't. She and I can figure that out on our own. I'm just talking money here. I'm fully aware of the statistics and history of guys getting fricked over when situations like this go awry.

Thanks to everyone that has contributed to the actual topic.
Unfortunately, we only have about $20k saved. We won't have 20% to put down. That's a lot of cash to save.

Regarding your advice: Perhaps your definitions of stability and commitment do not apply to us? Can you possibly believe there are people out there with different stances on marriage? We've been together since college and are happy. While I appreciate strangers' thinking their experiences put them in a position to dole out advice to folks they do not know, it's not why I came here.
I know of the various calculators and they are certainly useful.

I'm looking for advice from the real world to see how it matches with what the calculators say.
Cars aren't important. I have a 2010 Tacoma I'll pay off in 1.5 years. I won't be getting anything else unless absolutely necessary. She drives a shitty Accord. We'll get her another cheap small car when necessary.

Monthly expenditure outside of debt and retirement averages around $1200 if I had to guess. I'd have to pull statements to be sure.
Haha, seemingly an oxymoron, I know. We have it figured out though. Lucky us, I guess.

Lotta bitter guys here.
If it makes everyone more comfortable with what has been presented, you can pretend I said wife. I'm OK with that.

I'm looking for advice on financials, not my romantic situation.
Don't worry about the pre-nup/marriage stuff. She and I have that covered. I certainly appreciate everyone's concern, however.

The cost of the house is part of my inquiry. I'm trying to determine what we can reasonably afford given our financial position.
What? Doesn't adhere to your moral code? My apologies.
My girlfriend and I are looking to buy a house around the first of the year.

Combined gross income of $113k/yr with additional income from commission of ~$10-15k/yr. 10% of this goes into retirement accounts. We both expect to advance in our careers and subsequently earn more as time goes on.

About $30k in student loan debt resulting in monthly payments of about $600. There is the option to restructure this to about $300/mo. About $700/mo in auto payments. No credit card or other debt.

My credit is about 810. Hers is around 700.

What is the MT general advice on home price limit, expected interest rate, etc. This board has been a very useful source of info, but some input on my personal situation is appreciated.

TIA

I squat twice a week. Once on my leg workout - heavy weight. Another squat session on my back day - moderate weight, deep squat, 5 sets.

I follow my own modified version of Boring But Big.
Back day is my favorite. Heavy deads.

I like shoulder day. Almost to a 200 lb standing press.

Am I the only dude that doesn't have an arm day? Bis get worked on back day, tris get worked on chest day....
He's going to do progress pics in a couple of weeks. If I remember, I'll bump the thread with pics.
I've followed the threads since I found the original on here - before he decided to go for it. He was just shite talking and trolling, now he's completely dedicated. It's great to see.
There was a thread a while back about the 650+ lb fatty on bb.com. Well, he's lost 250 lbs so far. Pretty awesome. He started as a troll and the community there convinced him to turn his life around.

Any idea of his rates? I'm guessing he's the pro at....Beaver Creek?

$375

Normally $85 per session so it's a nice discount. I've heard he's good as well, but for that much money I'd like to hear what others have to say.

I'm thinking of springing for a 5-lesson package with Chris Burkstaller at The Island to work on a specific fundamental flaw (hips stop rotating on downswing, causing spine angle to straighten).

Thoughts? Is he the right guy for the job? Any advice is welcome.
