Weidman was dominating the fight and had already badly hurt Silva. I think because of that some people will give him respect, but there will still be people say that motivated Silva wasn't coming out until the 3rd round so the victory is not legit.
Silva was very dominant for a portion of his career, but the highlight reel from 10 years ago doesn't play any factor in the fight tonight or in the first fight.

Think you a little to fan boyish on that recall. He did two jogs around with hands in air then went and checked on silva when saw might be serious. The checked kick is a move though and not first time fighter has won with it

1 min into the 2nd round. Weid almost knocked anderson out again in the first but anderson survived in the guard for the rest of the round where he took some additional big shots from chris. Anderson did land a few good shots from the bottom but chris beat him up in the first.
As far as the leg kick goes that shows the danger of really ramping up on those leg kicks and chris countered it perfectly.

Sonnen had people so worked up before 2nd fight they will never acknowledge it was looking like exact replay of first fight. Sonnen going full retard in round two is why he lost but he dominated up to that point. People claim silva worked sonnen over in both fights. Sonnen played heel perfectly

silva has been doing the equivalent to what they are doing in the ring for most of his career. nothing anybody says on this forum is going to bring his leg back.
