Trying to beat teams all season by 40-80 points doesn't prepare you for when you are in a dogfight with a real opponent that isn't afraid of you.

Two years in a row. They're on the verge of becoming the Oregon football of women's basketball.

you are arguing that they should purposely keep games close?

They can’t help that their conference is decided by men’s football (which is dogshit.)

I’m 100% sure Geno would rather be playing in the ACC or Big Ten for conference

Unless the UConn women basketball team wears 23 different uniforms I don’t see the relevance

I think it hurts them to play in a conference in which all the other teams are weak in women's basketball.

In contrast, Notre Dame, Mississippi State and Louisville all play in very tough conferences.

UCONN could play every other top 25 team in the country, every year, and go 30-2ish

There are 2-3 teams every year who can even begin to compete with them. Let's not pretend it matters which conference they play in.

And that's part of why the sport is a joke.

What's the alternative?

They lost by 2 points.

UCONN never learns?

Never learns what?

How to rack of championships?

Oregon plays real opponents - a full Pac schedule and multiple SEC games which they whipped the SEC opponent in their house.

And Oregon hasn't won 11 Nattys like Uconn.

ND almost got punked at the end because they were so busy celebrating like girls with 1 second left.

Women's CBB is just not enjoyable...players are always doing the wrong things.

A UCONN buddy of mine told me this - UCONN is (with this loss) 57-3 against ranked opponents over the five years they've been in the AAC, with five straight final fours and three championships. I don't think they're too concerned about what conference they play in.
