So the transfer portal opens for those 2 teams tomorrow and they haven’t played 4 games yet, so they can all redshirt and transfer if they want

this is the craziest part about firing someone so early in the season
you literally gut your own roster with this move

Not if you think the UCLA job is better than the Gators job… that’s just not true at all.

Arkansas fired Jack Crowe after the 1st game of the 1992 season. They lost to The Citadel.

Chip Kelly screwed UCLA because he didn’t want to recruit and play the NIL game. So he doesn’t make an effort to bring in any players for the 2024 season, and bails on them in February before the 2024 season. UCLA tried to get someone who would generate fan interest in the program. Unfortunately, he just wasn’t qualified to be a power conf HC.

Apparently VT let Brent Pry go before he got to his car yesterday

Did he get our without being ticketed for being illegally parked in the coaches' parking lot?

Good lord. Foster is one season and 2 games into his tenure. The buyout must have been low

Quick Google search shows its just under $6.5MM buyout.:lol;

Fans of SEC teams shed a tear seeing that low of a buyout.

Apparently it’s one of the worst run and most dysfunctional programs in the country.

Not surprising considering of the 11 main positition coaches for UCLA only 2 of them are white and even they look like weak men.

Time for the world famous "Coaching Changes" board.

Do the Hokies go after Frank's kid? Do the Bruins go after Coach Yaw Yaw in spite of his "sissy blue shirts" comment? I heard he's itching to get back into coaching.

They'll probably hire Jimbo Fisher.

Wouldn't be a bad hire TBH.

He's from that part of the country(Clarksburg, WV) so he would be a good cultural fit

As for Beamer jr...the only thing things that I know for facts from people:

* They want a clean break from the Beamer era...lots of old hands have left or told they are retiring. They messed with Fuente and then pushed for Pry. How did that work out.

* The statement came on Pry's dismissal came from the President, not the AD.

* Stated that the next coach will be picked by a committee but AD has not say.

So, AD is gone also, he has a longer contract (for those that did not read the VT is dead thread, he was the same one who spent all the money to bring TUberville to Cincy :/ )....so we will hear his removal soon

Would they be able to afford him or would Jimbo accept power pay for a chance?
