It’s the race that we’d all love to see, but that will never happen. Usain Bolt vs. Tyreek Hill.

A day after Bolt boasted to Pat McAfee that Hill would have no chance, Hill fired back.

“Usain Bolt got out of the game for a reason, right?” Hill told reporters on Friday. “He’s old, he’s washed up, and he can’t see me in 40 yards. Hundred-yard dash, yes, that’s what he do. But 40-yard dash, according to this, Usain Bolts, you cannot see me.”

Hard to comment on that without watching the actual video.

Bolt would completely wipe the floor with hill over any distance and it wouldn’t be close

Tyreek may have a chance in 40. I've seen multiple races where Usain starts off relatively slow through the first 40.

But yea in a 100 Usain still wins by atleast 10 yards.

So hill ran a 4.29 in track shoes in 2017, 4 years ago. Bolt ran a 4.22 in 2019, 2 years ago, in regular sneakers.

My money is on bolt crushing Hill.

Not in the 40.

Bolt was always behind the pack before the 50 meter mark.

And Hill was talking 40.

Everyone knows Bolt wasn't a flier out of the box. Same with Carl Lewis he caught you at the end and ran by you. Big long legs.

Come on man! Nobody is going to let that blow-hard get away with his 40-yard dash taunt. Run the man in his event in which he has proven to be superhuman.

Beat em at his game. That's 100 meters for you flash.

Tyreek Hill is fun to watch but I wouldn't blink if he broke his legs in half

To add to this when people look at 40s they’re looking at the time starting on 1st movement. When looking at track times you’re looking at the time starting on the gun. Even the best in the world have a delay on the start with a gun.

Meaning…40 times are vastly pumped up vs track times.

Did we learn nothing from watching the Seahawks WR get roasted on the track?

Christian Coleman is the fastest starter ever (say what you will about his tendency to be away from his home when he needs to be there for unannounced drug tests).

He ran a laser timed 40 with the same start rules as NFL players in 4.12. I believe the fastest 40 in the NFL was a 4.22 from John Ross and then a 4.26 from Chris Johnson and Donte Stallworth.

Could Bolt run a 4.21 or 4.25 right now? Of course not, he hasn’t trained since the 2017 worlds and is filming commercials and relaxing in Jamaica or wherever he lives.

But neither could Hill (or John Ross) right now because they aren’t training for track either.

Give Bolt 3 months and tell him that he has to run the 40 against a man who choked his pregnant wife, broke his kid’s arm, and insulted him, and I would place a bet on Bolt.
