There is NO such thing as a slippery slope, bigot. With that said, I it's time the Rockies change the mascot's name to something that isn't so close to a racial slur. Is the history of some mascot really more important than the mental health of hearing impaired POC? No. #GetRidOfDingers

Exactly, which is why I rolled my eyes at the Rockies statement (yet was getting downvoted for it)
Why does anyone need outward public confirmation that the vast vast vast majority of the general public is against racism? It seems a lot easier to assume that everyone already stands against bigotry and hate instead of assuming they don’t until they “confirm” they “do”
It really all does tie back to how ridiculous social media has gotten, and how emotionally coddled people need to be.
