Kobe patterned his game, persona and voice on MJ.

Kobe was a true MJ clone. He did everything MJ did, just a lot less efficiently.

Trying to pattern your game after the greatest of all time and using that to win 5 championships of your own makes someone a cuck? Sounds like a genius to me.

Considering what it achieved for him and the basketball reputation he retains to this day in addition to his status as an all-time Laker, I'd argue it was a genius approach MAMBA MENTALITY

I like Kobe, but I definitely find it funny how Laker fans who see him as the ultimate Laker conveniently forget that he trashed the organization and demanded a trade.

The difference in “in your face” defense is Night and Day.

Kobe played in a much tougher era against guys with 7 foot wing spans at the guard position whereas Jordan spent most of his career blowing past 6’2 white guys

Further, I didn’t seen many, if any shots, of Jordan taking it with his left or rebounding to himself like Kobe constantly did.

Kobe > Jordan

No.

I don’t pattern my speech after Trump.

Agree, Jordan was WAYYYYY more efficient at shooting the basketball than Kobe ever dreamed of being but Kobe emulated Jordan a ton and I respect him for rocking that though it's possible he committed rape 16 years ago, facts surrounding that are pretty murky

Kobe was my eras Jordan. Both just killers on the court. So much technique and finesse. Im not so sure we see that style of play for awhile if ever again. Sad because it is basketball in its best form.

Kobe's career high season in PER was a 28.0. MJ had seven seasons higher than 28.0 in his career.

MJ was a better defender as well. Kobe is a top 20 all time guy, maybe top 15, but MJ owns him.

Without Jordan to show Kobe how to do it big, Kobe would have been another Allen Iverson.
