Only teams who spend a minimum of 30 million on their rosters, average minimum 75k in attendance and draw a minimum of 10 million TV viewers should be allowed in
Besides Tulane and JMU, what’s the least one of these playoff teams spent on their roster?

Of course.. but if that's the goal then you might as well just shutter all but maybe 30 programs across the country and acknowledge that its just a pro sports league.

Ultimately this is all for entertainment, I don’t see why we are limiting entertainment to be “fair” towards undeserving teams that play G5 schedules.

Yes, G5 needs their own playoff. Their inclusion basically just ruins 2 games this year. Get rid of auto-bids.

Power teams gonna stop scheduling Group teams then?

Did you bitch when Bama skulled Michigan St 38-0 in the playoffs?

Blowouts happen. Group teams have beaten Power teams in big bowl games.

I get it, you just like the same 4 teams in the playoffs.

Hey I get it.. but once you remove auto-bids and replace with committee decisions, you're a half step away from WWE with curated match-ups, expected outcomes, etc.

Remember Ole Miss in the CWS a couple years ago? Nobody gave them a chance, said they didn’t deserve to be there.

Not only is this a dumb comparison, but I'm not sure this even helps your point about not having Tulane or JMU in...

Yeah but you must be forgetting how thrilling of a matchup it was between Ohio State and Tennessee last year!

Careful now..... I wasn't trying to throw that much at them.

We really need to just have Texas, Ohio St, Notre Dame and Alabama play in the playoffs no matter their record. Just those four teams.

JMU and Tulane barely crack the top 25 best.

what would be the point of these teams playing a season if its always the best 12?

why would they even lace them up?

We had blowouts in the 4 team playoff and people act surprised when we have them in a 12 team playoff. Make it make sense. 12 teams is too many. 4 teams using BCS ranking would be perfect not this 'feel good' DEI 12 team model we have now.

Like I keep saying, just have Ohio st, Bama, Texas and Notre Dame in the 4 team playoff every year. They can rotate the 1-4 spots. ITS WHAT FOOTBALL FANS WANT!

it's why Group of 5 should hold their own playoff
you could have a nice 8 team playoff for them instead
