A game you were actually watching and for whatever reason you missed a huge play.

For me, the Gleason blocked punt against Atlanta in '06. I went to my dad's to watch the game and do laundry. I watched the first series, saints force a three and out, I go to my car to get the laundry basket, come back to chaos.

Inspired by the '10 Tennessee thread on the rant, everyone turning the game off at the botched snap and missing that LSU got an extra play and won it.

ETA I guess this could apply to stepping away from your seat at the wrong time at a live event.

Kick 6, because I left the room before he (supposedly) scored, (supposedly).

Must have been out of the room a lot during the 2012 NC game, cause I never saw LSU cross the 50.

You think he was out of bounds too?

Did they ever review that?

Didn’t see the play in its entirety. So we’ll never truly know…?

Does ESPN+ cutting the LSU v USM game off at the beginning of the 9th inning count?

I didn’t find the YouTube feed until the 10th so I missed all the runs to tie it.

As a Bama fan we deserved to lose that after trying to kick a 65 yard FG and having no one in there to defend a possible return.

That was one where Saban outplayed himself.

Kick 6. I guess this counts.

Was at the camp getting done with an afternoon hunt, got back to the truck and turned on the game. It was me and my dad so my mom was at home watching the game alone. We start driving back to the camp and we lose radio signal when they added 1 second back on the clock. Naturally we assumed Bama pulled off some dumb miracle. 5 minutes later my mom calls my dad absolutely losing her mind. She couldn't even form a sentence, it took her 5 minutes to explain what happened.

Doug Flutie hail mary pass.

My family spent Thanksgiving Day with one side of the family and then drove to visit the other side for a day-after Thanksgiving. I was watching the game (a thrilling shootout) at a cousin's house who lived next door when I got summoned for dinner. "Just a few more minutes, the game's almost over" I said. "No, the food will get cold, come right now!"

About 10 minutes later my cousin came bursting into our dinner screaming with excitement about the craziest ending to a football game ever. And this was pre-internet so I had to wait for the 10 o'clock news to see what happened.

Dobbs Hail Mary against UGA in 2016. Was so disgusted that Tennessee gave up the bomb on UGA’s previous possession that I just walked out of the room and went and laid on my bed. Then a couple of minutes later my phone started blowing up…..

I was at the national title game this year and went to take a piss right after Jalen Carter ended Alabama's 17 play drive with a blocked FG. The very next play was James Cook breaking the 67 yard run that changed the game. I missed it while I was pissing

Auburn kid kept his heel up and stayed in. I watched that one a few times because I didn't think it was possible for him to stay in bounds.

I think I missed that too. Can't remember why. The Lanier strikeout on the previous pitch probably sent me out of the room.

I remember watching this in a hotel room waiting for it to be over so they would put on the LSU/Florida game. Was so glad I saw that. Harbaugh's constipated face was worth it.
