I'm not gonna lie. I had my doubts when CJ said he was running a ProStyle Offense. I thought Tulane needed to run some kind of spread.

But he's got them going in the right direction.

I just hope if Cajuns and Tulane do meet up, that Tulane will actually bring a half-decent crowd. 15k at least?

Well, we won't have to turn down the NOLA bowl to get to the LB.

The replay of the game is on Cox 20 in NOLA if any of the Tulane fans want to see it. It's in the 4th Q.

Well one is a $1.7 million payout and the other is a $500,000 payout. Other options depending on their CUSA finish are the Hawaii Bowl and the Armed Forces Bowl. If you're worried about turnout... don't be. I'd say going to a more prominent bowl has more effect on recruiting then the number of fans who travel.

yea because they can't get 4,000 people in the stands for a successful team again a notable opponent. A damn shame really.

Attendance was embarrassing today. Might have had something to do with Fall break though, because student turnout was good(by Tulane standards) last week against UNT.

Yep. I heard attendance was terrible and fans keep trying to blame it on the students. Even if 50% of the students turned out which would be beyond average - that is what 5-6k at best. The local fans are the ones that need to get out but Tulane does zero marketing for any sports. People are starting to pay attention and care but when you suck for the majority of decades it takes more than a few more wins than normal to get people to show up to games. I think they could get a solid 25-35K but that will take a few years of consistent success. Hell, TCU is a winner and they have nobody at their games. Smaller schools cannot count on student attendance. In the case of Tulane the new stadium will at least help get more students there because they need 2-3-4-5K of them to start showing up when they win. They are lucky to get more than 25 students there now.
