If Tua is the truth, you won't want him at Alabama.

Wouldn't he have to sit out a year at UCLA? Then if he's good enough go pro after his first year starting?

You'd have to deal with a decent UCLA for 1 year.

I think Tua IS the truth and why the hell would I want a potential 1st rounder playing for those powder blue poo-bags when he does a lot less damage to my program (including recruiting, because he WILL draw folks) at Alabama? Have Papa Saban give him some lip service, recruit a few more Poly kids so you can have your own honky-tonk "Uce Crew" and keep him at Bama.

He'd be a very scary proposition in a Chip Kelly offense.

What is impressive is Saban gets these 5* passing QBs to commit while playing a run first QB and having zero history of developing QBs in general.

I hear you.

I just think he's good enough that if he starts 2 or 3 years at Alabama...the country is frickED.

1 year of him at UCLA might not be as rough as 2 or 3 at Alabama.

But you're probably right.

If true, those 5*s must not have meant shite if he can’t beat out that horrendous quarterback that they already have.

GMac won a ship and got drafted.
AJ developed really nicely.
Sims played QB as well as he possibly could have.
What did Jimbo he think out of Coker? We all know what Saban got out of him.

So LSU is completely fricked?

God only knows if you can't start over Etling..

i've heard the same from alabama folks.

Those Alabama fans on this site got it from AU24’s troll post on the rant.

Maybe he’ll transfer after the spring but he’s most likely not going to transfer before then. He probably has a chance to win the starting job in the spring.

Which again doesn’t make sense since he will get his chance to start in the spring practice. He played way more as a back up this year than any Saban back up QB has.

If true, this reeks of tampering by Chip Kelly.

Considering hurts is probably a 4 year starter it makes a ton of sense.

I’m not saying he’ll never transfer but to transfer before the spring doesn’t make sense as of right now. He would have the chance of winning the starting job.

If hurts is horrendous then it's pretty telling that he's beaten LSU's arse his first 2 years. I guess not everybody can be blessed with a generational talent like etling
