If he gambled on his own team, then that is illegal. I don't think he would have a good lawsuit in that situation.
Just random gambling, then yes he should be OK.
He was also placing bets while not of legal age to gamble. How did he get around the age requirement because the sportsbook apps make you upload a picture of your ID for age verification when you register an account. So was he using a fake / photoshopped ID that said he was 21 or was he using an account that was in someone else's name who was 21? Either way, that's more potential legal trouble.

Even without the gambling problem, LSU and everyone else, still dodged a bullet. He never played well in big games.
He sucked so bad against WVU in 2024 that he nearly saved Neal Brown from getting fired. However it does make you wonder....did he really suck in that game so bad or did he go full Black Sox.

They’ve made their general rule on stuff that happens in college stays in college and don’t typically review things that happened prior to them being in the league as part of their conduct policy
None of this is true

This is really sad for him.
Yeah, that’s pretty damn sad. What kind of mentally weak dork needs 10,000 bets to keep feeding his emotionally immature brain?

Now he’s lawyering up because he’s a victim and the NCAA is wrong
Well of course it’s not his fault…….personal responsibility be damned

It would be fun if the lawyer came out swinging and blamed it on predatory gambling company practices though. Media wouldn't know how to cover that.
