Where exactly in New Orleans is there “Sugar” plantations. I know Louisiana has a rich history of sugar farming, but other than the name, I never hear anything about the sugar cane crop in New Orleans or wherever it is.

Roses are a constant visible symbol for the Rose Bowl.

Peach Bowl is self-explanatory as Georgia is the Peach State.

Cotton farming is quite massive throughout central and west Texas.

We all know oranges are a constant symbol for the Orange Bowl.

It just seems the presence of “Sugar” is not there for New Orleans and Louisiana as a whole.

Pretty sure back when we were selling people all of the Louisiana cane went in and out of New Orleans.
