Awful Announcing

Yeah the OP is BS. Aikman himself yesterday said he is a free agent at the end of the year, but it doesn't close the door to going back to ESPN. But it's 50/50 right now and falling for him to return.

I don't think it will be McAfee. The only reason to move on from Aikman is pressure from the progressive elements in the media to do a DEI hire for that role and if anyone will make a DEI hire, its ESPN.

Why are the hosts bringing on their kids/spouses on the tv now? Ive seen Buck's wife multiple times now and Jac Collinsworth is the biggest no talent arse clown nepo baby ive ever seen on tv.

Like, do they have no self awareness? Id be fricking embarrassed to step over a career journalist trying to get into a sweet as role like that.

Will Troy finally come out of the closet and live his life as a gay man now?

Ever since Tirico and Gruden left, ESPN seems hellbent on making their MNF production as shitty as possible. It's really strange.

That’s exactly the reason ESPN brought in Aikman/Buck and paid them a lot of money. The NFL refused to give ESPN/ABC a Super Bowl unless they solidified their broadcast.

Aikman/Buck restored ESPN’s credibility, so the NFL awarded them two Super Bowls in the most recent media deal (2026 & 2030 seasons).

I guess ESPN couldn’t stand stability and success, so they are breaking up the team as soon as they can.
