he got evidence in hand to clear his name. Why wouldnt he put that video out? She is the one who lied and screwed him out of millions, not to mention out of a good name.

Hell, you're seeing it happen right now with Mel Tucker at Michigan St. In his case he didn't actually "assault" anyone. From several states away he jerked off while on the phone with a woman who was so shocked and outraged she....continued the conversation and communicated with him on several occasions after that. There is zero question to any reasonable person that the pair had some sort of consensual relationship. Yet, Mel committed the cardinal sin of losing after securing a huge contract.
MSU's boosters saw the terrible ROI they were getting for their investment and where happy to take any opportunity to get out from under their obligation. They aren't morally "outraged" by Tucker's actions. They are just thrilled there is an argument they can use to get out of a bad business deal.

If Bauer wants to go after people to clear his name, Molly Knight (then of the Athletic) reported that Bauer fractured the girls skull despite Knight having a copy of the girl's medical records saying no fracture existed.
It would be interesting to follow the money on that one and see if she was just being a #metoo zealot reporting those lies or if she was incented to report the lies.

He apparently dropped the lawsuit against the athletic and Molly Knight.
Molly Knight will never be taken seriously again, which is a great thing. My hope is that the players themselves will shame her if she dares step foot in a press conference again.
