No! He’s only played against nobodies while Travis has also played against nobodies! It doesn’t compare!

ETA: WAIT A SECOND! Jeanty ran for 192, 7 YPC and 3 TD’s against Oregon! A bunch of nobodies!

I've watched every single play the last two years. He is, without question, the best football player/athlete I've ever seen. IQ is off the charts. Ball skills insanely off the charts.

He is hands down the best player on the field any time he is out there. Not only the best player, but the best athlete as well. Watching that Utah game last night it was crazy seeing how much faster and how much more agile he was than anyone else. No one came anywhere close.

It depends on what you mean by overrated. He's a great player. He is Colorado's best player on both offense and defense. That's impressive on its own.

That being said, I'm not quite sure I buy him being a #1 overall player. He's a good receiver, but he's not at the level of a Marvin Harrison Jr, Justin Jefferson, etc for a receiver. And while it's a bit harder to rate his ability on defense, cornerbacks aren't a position that is typically taken that high.

What good does it do to draft a player that high based on his ability to play multiple positions, when he's more than likely only going to play 1 position anyways.

If you're not going to play him both ways then don't draft him in the first half of the first round.

I’m indifferent, but I saw something that said something like..

He’s not a top 10 WR
He’s not a top 5 rated CB
He’s not the best offensive, defensive or returner in CFB.

Playing a bunch of plays is cool but not a stat that makes him more deserving than other players.

You're actually right, he'll be a good CB in the NFL, if you put him at WR his ceiling is probably DeVonta Smith like in the NFL.

So he’s top 20 in 2 skill positions with one of those being top 10.

I’ll wait for you to find any other player in the country fitting that mold.

Ashton Jeanty deserves it.

Dude ran for 200 yards on like 13 carries against the #1 team.in the country.

But the Deion media sycophants will give the Heisman to Hunter.

He's no Charles Woodson.
