Super Bowl should never have been located there.

I bet they can keep the lights on during the game, unlike a certain other venue.

Undervalued statement here. If it is just say 10 degrees or so, thats some big jackets needed. Gonna be a pain to hold on to the whole game.

Won't matter when Minnesota makes the Super Bowl.

You always hear how much $ hosting a Super Bowl brings to the local economy. How much $ will the city of Minneapolis lose if MINN is one of the two teams? I don't really mean this as a bad thing either just seems like all of the hotels/tourism will not see any benefit if MINN is in it.

I get so sick and tired of the geographical elitism during college bowl season and the Super Bowl locations. I love it being in Minneapolis. Why should Midwesterners and Northeasterners be the only fans that have to really travel? Hell I want even more Northern Super Bowls. Give me a Super Bowl outside in Philly, Chicago or even at some iconic venues like the Horseshoe or Big House. frick all these warm weather fans and media types that need to be pampered with lavish hotels and warm weather. I want a Super Bowl in 10 degree weather!

It blows my god damn mind that the same river that runs through Baton Rouge and New Orleans is what divides Minneapolis and St. Paul all the way up in Minnesota. And the fact that the people all the way up there (the majority of which I'm assuming have never stepped foot in the south) still call it the Mississippi River .

As the NFC champion and host the Vikings would be allowed to distribute less than 25% of the tickets. I’d imagine a lot of those would be going to their corporate sponsors.

The Super Bowl isn’t really that accessible to normal fans, even if it’s a home game.

Yeah, It's gonna be cold... The Meadowlands (NYG) was cold as well and the SB went off without a hitch.

Wasn't really that cold and they had pretty big transportation issues after the game

They missed a disaster by less than 24 hours

Edit: 6 hours. Gameday had temps in the 40s

SECONDARY MARKET...

Vikings fans if they make it won't be shelling out for flights. Or hotels mostly. Or rental cars. That equals more money to enter the secondary market with for a once in a lifetime home Super Bowl. Some of y'all overestimate the corporate influence on big game crowds.

At least the fans won’t risk being robbed, raped or murdered by wandering too far from the stadium.

I'm not sure I agree with you a hundred percent, there Fox.

You ever been to Minneapolis?

Ya know, they got a Radisson, so it's pretty good.

Beautiful city of 1,000,000 (not counting suburbs) that for some reason decided to commit a slow and ugly suicide by moving in 100,000+ third-world Muslim Africans downtown and giving them free housing, welfare, and nothing but time to crank out 6 kids per family.

They are so inbred that even the ones who try to work have IQs in the 80’s.

What about getting blowed up Aloha Snackbar style in Minneapolis? It’s really only a matter of time.
