Aw man. You hurt all of my feelings.
I'll still be apart of tRational MSB NBA Posters bro. You'll still be viewed as a clown by the vast majority on this board.

quote:Well that still included your best player in all 3 games, but how about the teams you played. Did they have top players out too for whatever reason?
Oh asinine designation is when the team decides to sit at Least 3 rotation guys.
Sacramento (04/09/17) DNP's-Season MPGs
Collison-30.3 MPG for season
Afflalo-25.9 MPG for season
Evans-22.4 MPG for season
Koufos-20.0 MPG for season
Gay-33.8 MPG for season (inactive for last half of season)
Minnesota (04/12/17) DNP's-Season MPGs
Rubio-32.9 MPG for season
Hill-6.7 MPG for season (obviously not a major player)
Lavine (out for season)-37.2 MPGs
So in two of those games, you played 2 teams who barely won 30 games, and they were also missing players who played significant time, and that's not including Sacramento trading away Cousins and Barnes.

The vast majority didn't even think CC would be a top 4 seed last year and that was wrapped up at the all star break. So that tells ya what we dealing with herw.

Did you not see where I said he learned a lot this year. That he can't do it all for the regular season and post season so he recruited Paul

They went 41-41 the season before, can you blame them?
Posted on 7/10/17 at 11:23 pm to buckeye_vol
Exactly. They were basically exhibition games. So why are you giving them weight when so many of the players involved weren't the ones who played for the other 79 games of the year.
Posted on 7/10/17 at 11:25 pm to whatiknowsofar
That was an obvious fluke season to anyone who pays attention. Rookie coach for 80+% of the year who was in over his head.

quote:And yet somehow despite, never watching the games, I can take 2 seconds to show that you're spouting some combination of lies, hubris, and ignorance that immediately invalidate the basic facts of your argument.
You've been exposed as being nothing more than someone who can LOok up numbers and post them with no context or common sense.
If you want to argue context and common sense, then you can't start with incorrect information. Context and common sense in a fantasy world is still just fantasy.
So when you're ready to come to the objective reality, then feel free to argue common sense and context.
But I must say, up until tonight, I actually believed that despite your ridiculous arguments, you actually watched the games. I didn't value your eye test, but I at least believed your eyes were on the game.
Tonight you've made it clear that your eyes aren't watching or your brain is making your perception irrelevant. I'm not sure what is worse, but neither is very good.

I mean the vast majority thought Houston was going to be a 55+ win team in 2015...
We saw what happened then

Right, I forgot about the part where the team didn't listen to the coach that got them to the WCF the season before.
The James Harden-led team.
Posted on 7/10/17 at 11:31 pm to Boomshockalocka
quote:Because they aren't "basically exhibition games" otherwise they wouldn't count on the record, or at the very least, your best player wouldn't be wasting his minutes in the game. If they were exhibition games, it would make more sense for Harden to play in the summer league than those games.
Exactly. They were basically exhibition games.
quote:I'm not giving them SOO much weight. I'm giving them the weighting of 3.7% of the season.
So why are you giving them weight when so many of the players involved weren't the ones who played for the other 79 games of the year.
And in case you missed it, like you miss the basic facts of games you're allegedly watching, I even presented information excluding those games.
You're the one who is weighting things that only fit your ridiculous nonsense. Exclude those games, and you say its irrelevant if they aren't fitting your bias. Include those games and they are just exhibition.

Lies. Yea. An independent link is lies.
it may not be the link you were using but that doesn't discredit it. Your over exaggerations show that you got handled. Save your weak takes with no context for other teams. I'll call you out on it.

quote:Well your independent link is inconsistent with NBA.com and BasketballReference, the two most reputable sites for basketball data. I know there are variations between site to site and calculation to calculation, but when teamratings.com is inconsistent with the most reputable sites, then teamtratings.com is a questionable source.

You still haven't explained how you came to the conclusion that there was a game "everybody sat but Harden."
Where are those facts? Where is that context?
Did you not watch the game? If not, why are you lying about it?
Did your eye test somehow not transfer to your long-term memory? Then how can we value your eye test if the fact processor isn't work right?
And why are you incapable of fact checking your own information? Do facts matter to you? What is context without the correct reality to consider it?

Buckeye, Boom is one of the worst posters on the board and most don't take him seriously anymore. You can literally point out how wrong he is 50 different ways and he still won't budge. He's just a bad homer. Nothing more. Nothing less.

But usually he doesn't start the engagement with this:

When you just look at the numbers and miss context (your forte I might add) you get a lot of swing and misses.

don't be a such an idiot and you won't get called out.

We see who melo is waiving his clause to play with. If that don't tell you that James is seen as the man by his peers.
I have to ask, dont really care about anything else not saying it is right or wrong. Every report is that Melo is willing to waive his no trade clause to play with Lebron in Cleveland. That I guess explains how Lebron is atleast seen by one of his peers.
I think everybody understands New York wants Melo gone. Everybody understands the Rockets want Melo. Everybody understands Lebron wants Melo, mixed reviews that everybody from the land wanted/wants him. I give credit where credit is due, Morey makes bold moves, and sticks by them.
The Knicks do not have a GM, the Cavs do not have a GM. The move should have been made either before the draft or right after, it will be tough for the Rockets to make this deal now with the assets they have. Everyday rockets fans on here say today is the day Melo comes, until they promote from within or get a new one (less and less likely it happens) dont think NYK make the move.
Posted on 7/10/17 at 11:52 pm to CoastTrashTiger
It's not getting done because the Knicks don't want to take on Ryan Anderson's contract. Not without a sweetener. That should be obvious to anyone.

It is very apparent, the Rockets also do not have a 2018 1st round pick.
It would be so ironic if the Nuggets could facilitate a three team deal around the league to get Melo out of NY, and get something back.
